On March 19, Fabryka Mebli BALMA SA, the Tarnowo Podgórne Entrepreneurs Association, the Konstantynowo Forest District and the Tarnowo Podgórne Municipality signed a cooperation agreement to support vocational education for young people and environmental protection.
The project is aimed at students of the Technical School Complex in Tarnowo Podgórne and includes activities developing skills in furniture restoration and wood processing. As part of the initiative, participants will take part in workshops on wood production, learn about the natural aspects of forest management and visit the Konstantynowo Forest District.
An important element of the project is its practical dimension — students will produce 50 bird nesting boxes, which will be installed in the municipality’s green areas.
“The signed agreement is an example of local partnership combining business, education and environmental activities,” said Michał Balcerkiewicz, CEO of Balma.
The initiative continues the cooperation with the Konstantynowo Forest District and reflects the company’s strategic approach to sustainable development.
