When design goes beyond function: the Tri-City edition of the LET’S TALK DESIGN series, which, for one evening, transformed the Balma Showroom in Gdańsk into a gallery of multidimensional dialogue. The event, organized in partnership with the OnArte platform, attracted architects, designers, and all those who recognize the interdependence between contemporary design and art. Together, we explored how modern art-branding and conscious design redefine the identity of the workplace, turning it into a unique experience hub.
The highlight of the programme was a keynote presentation by Krzysztof Justynowicz on "Art as an investment in wellbeing". The expert demonstrated that the presence of artwork in commercial spaces is not merely decorative, but above all a deliberate business tool. Carefully selected art pieces effectively communicate brand values, strongly stimulate team creativity, and genuinely reduce daily stress, thereby building a company's wellbeing strategy.
A key moment of the evening was a guided tour of an exceptional exhibition featuring 10 works by Polish artists. The space of the Gdańsk showroom was filled with creations by artists such as Maciej Mikuła, Henryk Cześnik, Anna Szprynger, and Tycjan Knut. The displayed forms – ranging from abstract painting to photography and sculpture – established a harmonious dialogue with the display of Balma's furniture solutions.
