New Embassy of the Republic of Poland in a Prestigious Location
A building that serves as a showcase of contemporary Poland has risen along the representative Unter den Linden boulevard in Berlin, in the vicinity of the Brandenburg Gate. The new headquarters of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, designed by the renowned studio JEMS Architekci, is a structure that combines monumental calm with openness. We had the honor of ensuring that the interiors of this prestigious facility would meet the highest standards of ergonomics and aesthetics.
A High-Demand Project for a Diplomatic Institution
A commission for a diplomatic institution is among the most demanding tasks in the contract furniture sector. The project covered an impressive scale of 10,000 m² of space and the preparation of 120 workstations, where maintaining aesthetic balance was crucial. The interiors needed to convey the official, prestigious character of the institution while avoiding a museum-like coldness in favor of modern functionality.
Polish Design and Contemporary Materials
The key to success proved to be the emphasis on Polish design and a bright, contemporary palette based on dominant white and natural oak, complemented by elegant accents in wenge and stainless steel. In the work areas, we implemented Multibase, Sit&stand S4, and Simplic desk systems, whose minimalist forms fit perfectly into the building’s architecture, while Etum acoustic panels ensure the concentration comfort required for focused work. The catalog offer was supplemented by custom-made solutions, including built-in cabinetry in guest rooms and stainless-steel tables echoing the rawness of Berlin architecture.
Final Result: A Synergy of Functionality and Elegance
The result is a cohesive, contemporary space that unites the vision of JEMS Architekci with our furniture solutions. The new Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Berlin stands as proof that office functionality can coexist harmoniously with diplomatic elegance.
