On November 13-14, 2023, the 1st edition of the Forum Dostępności - an event dedicated to universal design and architectural accessibility - will take place in Poznań. The conference brings together representatives of the architectural, development and construction industry, public administration and industrial design stakeholders.
The event will focus on discussing the challenges of legal and social changes related to architectural accessibility, as well as directions for the design of architecture and products accessible to all. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with experts involved in creating barrier-free solutions and learn about the latest trends and technologies related to accessibility.
The two-day event will feature numerous panel discussions and presentations, and every participant will have the opportunity to attend sessions that interest them and gain new knowledge about barrier-free design. An important element will be the presentations of case studies, which will present best practices and projects on architectural accessibility. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about innovative solutions that will expand their knowledge and inspire them to create more accessible and welcoming places for all.
We, too, will have the opportunity to share our knowledge and experience in conscious furniture design. You will be able to listen to us on 14.11 at 10:00 a.m. at the panel "Furniture, office, ergonomics", where Anna Śmieszek-Markuszewska (Director of the Marketing Department of FM Balma) together with Czesława Freilich (Department of Industrial Forms, Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow), Prof. Bogumiła Jung (University of Arts in Poznań), Aleksandra Krawsz-Kubica (Kinnarps) and Mikołaj Wierszyłłowski (SPFP Design Association) will jointly reflect on the current state of office furniture design.
