Balma initiatives in the report "Responsible Business in Poland. Good practices"

We are happy to share the news that as many as four of our reported ESG best practices were included in the "Responsible Business in Poland. Good Practices 2023" report published on April 16.

Among Balma's initiatives recognized by the committee were: two labor practices, one on social engagement and community development, and one in the environmental area:

Well-being and safety of production workers (p. 123);
Improving employee safety. Organizing and conducting a first aid course and evacuation drills. Purchase of a defibrillator (p. 63);
„Professional” – cooperation with trade schools, including the Technical School Complex in Tarnowo Podgórne (p. 351);
Modernization of the paint line, ISO 14001 (p. 152).

Published annually by the Responsible Business Forum, the report "Responsible Business in Poland. Good Practices" is Poland's largest overview of CSR and sustainable development initiatives. The 22nd edition presents 1046 actions taken by 266 companies.

The report "Responsible Business in Poland. Good Practices" is the most important periodic publication of the Responsible Business Forum, issued since 2002. The report is an overview of the activities of companies that have reported their activities in the area of sustainable development. It summarizes the most important ESG issues of the year in Poland.

The report also includes expert articles. Its regular feature is also a review of the most important events and publications related to sustainability. Previous editions are available here.
