We are thrilled to continue our mission of sharing knowledge and experience with vocational school students. The goal of the "Professional" project is not only to support young people in choosing their career paths but also to provide practical vocational training that opens doors to future careers.
In the 2024/2025 school year, five new students from the 1st year of the Technical School in Tarnowo Podgórne have joined our team.
Technical School in Tarnowo Podgórne
At the start of their internships, the students underwent training in human resources and payroll, health and safety, and marketing. Additionally, they had the opportunity to meet with Mariusz Majchrzak, Production Master and their mentor, who introduced them to the workings of the production process.
During their internships, the students will gain experience in various production departments. One of the projects they will be working on this year is building birdhouses, which we will donate to the Konstantynowo Forest District. First-year students will gain skills in the assembly and carpentry sections, while their older colleagues will also work in the machine room.
In total, the Balma team currently includes 15 students (with 5 students each from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years).
Our collaboration with the Technical School has been ongoing since 2020, when our patron class was established to help students obtain qualifications in carpentry. Regular internships, supervised by production masters and the internship coordinator, provide students with solid preparation for their future careers. After graduation, we offer them the opportunity to join our company.
Our production masters actively support students in preparing for their state exams. Interns have also had the chance to participate in workshops at the Construction and Woodworking School in Poznań, where their vocational exams take place.
In 2024, 100% of our students passed the exam. This is the result of a successful synergy between the students, our Carpentry Department Master – Mariusz Majchrzak, and the invaluable Mr. Ryszard Balcerkiewicz.
