Wellbeing in business - Pro Progressio conference

Pandemic, remote and hybrid work, but also the very idea that work-life-balance has a significant impact on our physical and mental health. Maintaining an appropriate approach to wellbeing and the broader area of psychology at work, are a challenge for companies regardless of their size and industry. Being aware of this, we were pleased to participate in the “Wellbeing in Business” conference, organized on April 25, 2024 in Poznan by the Pro Progressio Club, of which we have been a member for several years.

The topic of wellbeing is important to us. We identify it with: safety and health, but also development and comfort. The conference was aimed at discussing key issues concerning not only the mental health of employees, but, more importantly, company-employee relations, and sharing good practices that benefit employee wellbeing.

It featured a panel on “Work environment in the office and at home. Comfort vs. Social Isolation", which featured Magdalena Kaniewska - ESG Manager from Fabryka Mebli Balma SA, Magdalena Sękowska - Director, Psychologist from the Family-Parenting Clinic, Maria Lorenc - HR Development Manager&Workplace Expert from Kinnarps and Iwona Ślaska - HR Manager from MDDP Outsourcing.

Among other things, we touched on the consequences of working remotely, but also on how the working environment in the office is changing, what the role of managers managing teams is now, how to take care of relationships and communication in teams, how to build well-being, and what we can do to minimize the risk of social isolation. We also talked about diversity, the need for interaction, the essence of taking care of each other, and how the office is a place where we can fulfill many different needs.

We are glad that we were able to join the discussion, share our experiences and thoughts from the area of wellbeing at work, which is an integral part of ESG. We thank Pro Progressio for the invitation to co-create this unique event.
