A modern workplace is more than just an office—it is a space that adapts to different work styles and enhances the daily efficiency of the team. The design of this London office for a financial sector client integrates ergonomics, aesthetics, and flexibility, creating an environment that fosters both focus and collaboration.

Spanning 4,900 m², the space seamlessly blends functionality with design. The design emphasizes openness and harmony – a subtle palette of beiges, grays, and greens paired with wood creates an atmosphere that enhances well-being. Modular Stepps shelving units, lightweight standing screens, and delicate glass dividers structure the space, allowing for a smooth transition between individual and team work.

Ergonomics and comfort first

A key objective of the project was to ensure maximum comfort and a ergonomic work environment for employees. The open-plan space features Sit&stand desks with electric height adjustment, enabling dynamic shifts between sitting and standing positions. This promotes better well-being and increased efficiency.

Workstations were designed with individual needs in mind. Etum screens provide greater privacy, while K2 containers help keep workspaces organized. As a result, each workstation is not only ergonomic but also tailored to the specific requirements of its user.

Spaces for meetings and collaboration

The new office supports both formal and spontaneous meetings. Conference rooms are equipped with Simplic modular tables featuring built-in media ports for seamless video conferencing and presentations. More informal meeting areas feature soft, mobile furniture, ensuring comfort and flexibility in layout adjustments. Podium seating modules provide a comfortable place for short breaks while offering convenient phone-charging options. Pung mobile stools and Drops tables, strategically placed throughout the office, allow the space to be adapted to the team’s evolving needs.

The project incorporates Balma furniture, including height-adjustable Sit&stand desks, Etum screens, K2 under-desk containers, Stepps modular shelving units, Simplic modular tables, mobile standing screens and Plus coffee tables, Pung mobile stools, and Podium modular seating.
