Last year we began working with the Konstantynowo Forest District to jointly implement a project that would meet both the needs of the forest district and our expertise. The ideal task was to create nesting boxes for birds.
Fifteen students from the ZST in Tarnowo Podgórne, under the supervision of Balma employees, were responsible for making these construcions. They carefully crafted wooden nesting boxes of category B, designed for various bird species, including the blue tit, pygmy owl, starling, sparrow, and treecreeper. These boxes will provide additional nesting sites for birds, and this initiative will offer them new places to nest in the spring.
We are proud of the results of this initiative and we pleased that our cooperation has led to the creation of a project that will have a positive impact on the living conditions of birds in the region in the future!
