In the second half of February, we had the pleasure of welcoming in Balma lecturers and master's students from the Department of Design at the University of the Arts in Poznań. The visit had a familiarizing character and opened a new chapter in our cooperation with UAP.
During the meeting, we presented our organizational culture, approach to design, and strategic directions in the field of sustainable development. The guests also toured the production departments, and the visit concluded with a presentation of new products in our showroom.
This meeting officially launched a joint project between Balma and UAP, which will run until June 2025 as part of the course “Design – Research Topic.”
The task assigned to the students involves developing concepts for complementary accessories for three Balma furniture pieces, with a focus on functionality and user comfort. The project will be carried out under the supervision of UAP lecturers and with the substantive support of our experts.
We’re looking forward to the outcomes of this collaboration – it promises to be a truly exciting initiative!
